Guess what? Tomorrow is my altogether! I'm turning 30, and something about rolling into a new decade has got me down. So in an try to convince my goofy encephalon that I'm only just getting started, I put together a list of xxx things I'd like to accomplish in the adjacent x years. Then by the time the large 4-0 gets here, possibly I'll actually experience like I've done something with my life, and encounter that I've got plenty of time to do much, much more!

And because every post need a picture, I give you Reli & Corbin's quaternary of July Boogie…

Things to Purchase/Get:

1. Silhouette (No, I still don't have i yet.)

2. Coverstitch Automobile

three. Adopt a dog

4. Upgrade my Illustrator and Photoshop.

5. Smart-phone (I don't actually desire ane, only I'm jealous that I can't apply Instagram)

vi. Our forever (hopefully) dwelling(Didn't we only buy the 1st 1!? O.o)


Things to Make:

seven. Create my perfect studio space.

8. Throw awesome birthday parties for the kids.

9. Blueprint a cloth line. (even if it's only on Spoonflower)

x. Stitch something with hexies. (I've wanted to for ages!)

11. Brand our Anniversary Quilt. (I desire to brand each block show somewhere we went on our honeymoon.)

12. Put together a family scrapbook/anthology.

xiii. Start my own Pattern Shop.

14. Crochet another afghan. (This takes me a few years 😉


Places to Go:

fifteen. Proceed my beginning prowl.

sixteen. A blogging convention (SNAP)

17. Take the kids to Disney World.

xviii. Visit more local landmarks.(This is DC – We've got plenty!)

xix. Proceed a family route trip. (I wanna drive to Yosemite…from Virginia. Cuz I'm crazy like that.)

20. Take Ant to Japan for his 40th Birthday. (I'll be 39 by then. Enough of time to plan!)


Things to Exercise or Try:

21.Accept riding lessons. (Did y'all non already know I love horses?)

22.Teach the child'southward to sew.

23. Remodel the Kitchen.

24. Homeschool Reli for Kindergarten. (She tin can't enroll  in schoolhouse until she'due south 6 anyway.)

25. Discover my personal style.

26. Increment my Etsy shop's productivity during "non-holiday" times.

27. Become out of debt. (Stupid schoolhouse loans :-P)

28. Get a better photographer.

29. Tell the kids "yeah" more often, and other people "no".

30. Grow my blog into a fun little sewing community.

I'll probably need you lot guys to help me a picayune with that concluding 1, because you know how bad I am at stuff similar social media. 😉 It'south a commencement though, and yous know how much I like lists, so that might help proceed me on rails a little meliorate. Some of these may even change in the next few years, but y'all always gotta go along reminding yourself to dream!
